Students who enter 的 program with a master’s degree in acupuncture or equivalent will earn 的 Doctor of 针灸(DAc). Students who enter with a master’s degree in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine or equivalent will earn 的 Doctor of 针灸 with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (DAcCHM). 这两个学生的课程都是一样的.

The accreditation status of 的 professional doctorate curricula applies to both 的 Doctor of 针灸 and 的 Doctor of 针灸 with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization. We advertise 的 degree completion opportunity as 的 “transitional doctorate” program in order to distinguish it from 的 entry-level pathway. 然而, this professional doctorate completion track for graduates of ACAHM-accredited/pre-accredited master’s-level programs is considered by ACAHM as a component of 的 overall professional doctorate.
